Warranty
TEMPEST & CO. VOLUNTARY WARRANTY
Tempest & Co. is proud to offer a comprehensive warranty against manufacturing defects on all our meticulously crafted jewellery. This warranty is effective from the date of completion and spans a period of 12 months (the Warranty Period).
Should you suspect a manufacturing defect in your item, please return it to us for a thorough inspection. Upon our assessment, if we identify a manufacturing defect, we will proceed to repair or, if deemed appropriate, replace the item.
It's essential to note that our warranty does not extend to damages resulting from normal wear and tear, negligence, or mishandling by the wearer. Such instances may be covered by the owner's insurance at their discretion. In cases where damage is determined not to be a manufacturing defect, the owner will be informed of available repair services at an additional cost.
Proper handling of our jewellery is crucial. Please be aware that gemstones and diamonds are not guaranteed against chips, wear and tear, or loss. We recommend insuring all jewellery and stones through a third party, as our warranty does not cover damage or loss. For damage caused by wear and tear or physical damage, a repair fee will be incurred. Customers will be provided with a quote for any repair work, and approval or payment of this fee is required before any work commences.
To initiate a warranty claim, kindly contact us, including your full name and address, along with photographic evidence of the issue under warranty and a brief description. It's important to note that the cause of damage cannot be determined until our experts assess the piece in person.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Tempest & Co. will refund the customer for any domestic or international shipping and handling costs associated with sending the merchandise back for repair or replacement.
In the event that your piece undergoes repair by an external jeweller without prior approval from Tempest & Co., the warranty becomes void.
